To Zachary's joy, the three aliens return. But in their months away, things have changed - Raffles' apartment has been re-let and a new teacher hired to replace him. They need a whole new place to live and a new job – fast! On top of that, very sadly, their neighbour, Mrs Chandrasekhar has passed away. But she has left them a mysterious package.

Mrs Chandrasekhar's mysterious package is a video informing them she actually owned their building’s disused café – and that she's left it to them in her will! It looks as if the café is the answer to their problems – a place to live, plus jobs. Meanwhile, Leonardo and Neela admit they've returned to Earth because Uncle Maxi banished them here – indefinitely!

On returning to school, Leonardo decides to run against queen bee Weiling for Class Captain – with Zachary as his campaign manager. Weiling has a big head-start, so Zachary gets to work. Meanwhile Raffles and Neela take on setting up the café – by trying to operate the cantankerous coffee machine.

To Leonardo and Weiling’s shock, the school election is won by a surprise candidate who didn’t even run – Zachary! The class has realised all the good ideas in Leonardo’s campaign were Zachary’s! Meanwhile Raffles and Neela order the café’s first furniture – some very traditional, rather chintzy tables and chairs. Zachary and Leonardo are not impressed.

Leonardo and Zachary object to Raffles' conservative décor for the café. The boys want somewhere kids will feel welcome – with a cooler, hangout vibe. After some serious horse-trading, they pull the decor together - an eclectic mix of kids’ hangout and adult cafe. And Zachary hits on a name – Café Zetab Bean. Meanwhile, Neela, as Supreme Commander of Wait Staff, begins staff training.

With the café all set to open, Mr Hanis invites Raffles to talk to the students about how to set up a business… only for Raffles to realise how little he actually knows about running a business! He panics, but Neela’s organizational abilities save the day. But not a lot of staff training has occurred. As customers start showing up at the door, they realise they have no choice but to open up.

Zachary and Leonardo promote the café at school, and garner the attention of a major food critic - snooty Jeremy from their class. Zachary's not a fan but Leonardo is impressed by Jeremy's apparent sophistication. Jeremy has an influential Toktok vlog on food, and when he turns his nose up at the cafe’s offerings, it’s bad news for the cafe.

Raffles realizes Neela's recipes are from a book from the 1800s. Meanwhile, Zachary and Leonardo discover Jeremy is the son of Constance of Connie's Coffee chain. He uses his vlog to diss the competition! Countering, Zachary and Leonardo encourage kids at school to visit. Amazingly, Neela's recipes are a huge hit. But it’s revealed Neela's secret ingredient is a triple dose of sugar in everything!

Zachary and Leonardo happen upon the Clean Pod, and Leonardo jumps at the chance to be a Clean Pod superhero just like the branding says - mostly he wants to be a superhero for his own ego. Meanwhile Neela gets her teeth into café life, running the finances and taking care of the kitchen… but realizes that affable Raffles is out front getting all the credit when she’s doing all the work!.

Neela arranges a schedule that includes shifts for Zachary and Leonardo to take care of the kids' section. But Leonardo says he's busy being an Enviro Depot superhero. Meanwhile, Constance and Jeremy pay the café a visit. At the big event, the Enviro Depot Superheroes are a success and Leonardo realizes caring for the environment isn’t about his ego, it's about everyone's common good.

Uncle Maxie makes a surprise visit to Earth! Leonardo and Neela are appalled by Uncle Maxie's social gaffes and attention-grabbing non-human behaviour. They realise just how hard Zachary and Raffles have worked to help them fit in. Meanwhile, to help promote the café, Leonardo organizes an open mic night – with him to star of course.

Uncle Maxie's gaffes continue and threaten to drive customers away. However Leonardo is sure his open mic night will save the day. Uncle Maxie though ends up stealing the show – for all the wrong reasons. His 'set' is a disaster.

To keep up with Connie's Coffee, Zachary suggests they get some arcade machines – kids love them. Raffles agrees and sets out to get the games… but returns with a selection of games that no kid would find fun. Zachary and Leonardo save the day - a foosball table… and everyone catches foosball fever. At school, Zachary is facing trouble with his presidency coming head-to-head with Weiling.

Zachary must face off against Weiling at foosball - the only problem is he’s no good at foosball. Leonardo tries to teach him -even though he is worse than Zachary. When Constance and Jeremy make an unexpected appearance at the cafe and Constance challenges Raffles to a game of high-stakes foosball. Raffles and Leonardo team up to take on Constance and Jeremy and narrowly avert a café disaster.

Leonardo has failed gym class - apparently his hand/eye coordination isn’t up to snuff. Leonardo can’t believe it! But when Neela throws him a ball, it promptly hits him in the face. Leonardo needs help! He gets down to training his coordination. Meanwhile Raffles pulls Zachary in to learn the basics of café management. But his micro-management training is not a hit with Zachary.

Leonardo is prepping for his physical exam but Neela’s high expectations start to give him anxiety. Leonardo scrapes by the test but Neela realizes that her pressure made things worse for him. Meanwhile, Zachary is still continuing his café crash course with Raffles. He finally tells Raffles he’s pushing too hard, Raffles admits he’s always wanted to leave some kind of legacy.

In his role as power behind the throne of Zachary's class "presidency", Leonardo promises a free-dress day each Friday. Mr Hanis is not in favor and neither is Zachary – both believe it results in unhealthy competition, with students trying to outdo each other with name brands and the latest fashions. Meanwhile Raffles and Neela discover that food seems to be disappearing from the café.

Zachary and Leonardo continue to disagree with the idea of free-dress day. Meanwhile Raffles discover a letter from Amaal. It appears she is applying for a part-time job to save money for Space Camp. Leonardo realises Zachary is right – free dress could very uncomfortable for those who can't afford to keep up. He announces a reversal of policy.

Everyone in class is engrossed in a new comic book – "The Cloud Cape." It's written by Guy Gardens, the bad boy of the comic book world. When Zachary hears Raffles and Neela complaining about flagging sales, he and Leonardo come up with a plan to get Guy Gardens to make a guest appearance at the café. The boys manage to get him to meet at the café but he's sorely unimpressed.

Zachary and Leonardo are ecstatic about the Guy Gardens’ appearance—Neela not so much as he’s a bit of a creep. They get the ridiculous list of things he expects. But the guys are sure the irritation will be worth it. As Guy makes Neela more and more uncomfortable, the boys must make a decision whether to go ahead with his appearance and get a big win for the café… or stand up for Neela.

The cafe has made foodie blog Café Confidential’s shortlist of two for Best Café in town! Nobody needs to ask who the other café is - clearly it’s Connie’s Coffee. Café Confidential proposes a café Olympics - coffee brewing, food serving etc, between the two to determine who is the Café of the Year. Raffles doesn’t want to take the challenge but Neela is more than sure her skills are up to snuff.

As the contest approaches, Jeremy and Constance run a game of psychological warfare to wear down our team. When that doesn't work, Jeremy resorts to downright sabotage of their beloved coffee machine. Raffles, Neela and Leonardo prepare for defeat. But Zachary confronts Jeremy in front of Constance and it's revealed Constance knew nothing about the underhanded tactics.

When a customer makes a small complaint, Leonardo overreacts and organizes to run a self-defense course for Zachary and Raffles. Meanwhile, a message arrives from Uncle Maxi to say a decision has been made about Raffles, Leonardo and Neela's return to Zetabia. The message sounds very positive but now the time to return home may be at hand, all three are uncertain if that's what they actually want.

Uncle Maxi arrives to make the big announcement. However they all go to great lengths to duck him, trying to put off having to leave. Finally he pins them down and announces they will not be returning to Zetabia. Now the decision has been made, they are actually relieved – Earth has become home. But Maxie isn’t finished – they're not returning to Zetabia… Zetabia is coming here. What?!!!!
