Lost: Generations of library-goers want to know: where did that beef hor fun and wanton mee stall next to the old National Library go to? And what about stalls at the old Cuppage Centre food centre? Are any of the Rasa Singapura stalls still around? And what about that bak chor mee stall at the Marina Square food court (before it was renovated), the one that caused such long queues?

The hawker centre located under the flyover. This was what the Whitley Road hawker centre was described as, and customers haven’t forgotten about the stalls that used to be located there as well. Prawn mee, BBQ seafood, and BBQ chicken wings were among the favourite foods listed by Singaporeans who had regularly eaten there.

The main Tiong Bahru food centre is of course still there, but some stalls from the Tiong Bahru area have moved out, and customers have asked about where they have moved to, in particular these stalls: a) Crystal dumplings b) Lor Mee c) Carrot cake.
