Ah Soon, the Yuans and other coffeeshop vendors attend the 50th anniversary gala of famous restaurant chain Old Kim Kee, where they meet their coffeeshop’s new owner for the first time. 阿顺连同圆叔夫妇及其他咖啡店摊贩，出席了知名连锁大酒楼“老金记”的50周年庆。这也是大伙儿首次与咖啡店的新老板见面。“老金记”老板头家王则遇上麻烦，心怀不轨的宿敌出现在他眼前，迫使他不得不向隐世高手“二师兄”求助。充满目标和理想的新生代小贩琪琪加入咖啡店开了个档口，忙着为档口头一天开业进行准备。

The coffeeshop reopens with a bang, and Senior Minister of State Dr Amy Khor stops by to offer her well wishes. Ken announces his big plans for the coffeeshop. He works together with Qi Qi to help the older hawkers adapt to the changes. Their chemistry comes to the attention of Towkay Wong, who warns Ken not to get too close. Aunty Yuan considers right-sizing their home, but Uncle Yuan objects...

Qi Qi enlists the help of Ms Tan in her attempt to recreate the taste of the “Eight Treasures Rice” that her mother used to make for her. Towkay Wong’s assistant brings bad news about Old Kim Kee. Granny Wong narrowly escapes an accident while shopping in Chinatown. She faints and is admitted to the hospital...琪琪在陈小姐的协助下，尝试创造出记忆中母亲曾做给她吃的“八宝饭”。头家王的助手为大家带来关于“老金记”的坏消息。王太后在牛车水逛街时险些遇到意外而昏了过去，后被送入医院。。。

Ken, Qi Qi and the Yuans work to clear up the mess in the coffeeshop. Ken is grateful to Qi Qi for working alongside him through the night. Qi Qi reveals why she became a hawker, and enlists Ken’s help to attain her goal. Towkay Wong faces more troubling news about Old Kim Kee...Ken、琪琪以及圆叔圆嫂合力把一片狼藉的咖啡店收拾干净。Ken感激琪琪一整晚陪着他处理一切。琪琪向他透露自己成为小贩的原因，要Ken支持她一起实现目标。头家王面临“老金记”更多恼人的问题。。。

With Old Kim Kee in trouble, the Wongs have no choice but to downgrade. Mrs Wong has difficulty adjusting in their new HDB flat, and ends up in a heated argument with a neighbour. NEA officer Mo Dok carries out an inspection of the coffeeshop after receiving numerous pest complaints...“老金记”风光不再，王家失势后全家迁入组屋生活。头家王的妻子一时无法适应组屋的新生活，还和邻居激烈地争吵起来。环境局稽查员 Mo Dok 因接获数起咖啡店有害虫的举报而前来调查。。。

Troubles and bad luck seem to plague the Wongs and their friends. Mrs Wong tries to pawn her expensive jewellery and almost falls victim to a conman’s scam; Ms Tan gets an unwanted visit from Gao Li at her workplace; and Qi Qi is lost and heartbroken after learning the truth about her mother...一连串的麻烦和霉运似乎笼罩着王家和周遭的友人。头家王的妻子拿贵重的首饰去典当时，差点儿堕入老千设下的圈套。陈小姐在工作的地方遇到高力不请自来；而另一边厢，琪琪获悉关于亲生母亲的真相后，感到茫然且伤心欲绝。。。

The Wongs and the rest of the coffeeshop gang are still rattled by Qi Qi’s decision to take on Gao Li. Towkay Wong tells her of the only person who can help her defeat Gao Li, and recounts the story of how Old Kim Kee came to be his. To take Qi Qi’s mind off the competition, Granny Wong asks her and Ken along to volunteer at the senior activity centre...王家和咖啡店众人仍在为琪琪接受高力的挑战而显得方寸大乱。头家王对她透露能协助她打败高力的唯一人选，及他自己当初是怎么获得“老金记”经营权的来龙去脉。为了让琪琪可以暂离比赛的压力。。。

Qi Qi begins her training with Gao Wei and learns that there is more to cooking than techniques and tricks. During a visit at the Yuans’, Mrs Wong shares her desire to re-join the workforce and how happy she is to know of the many opportunities available. The Yuans serve up a new creation and impresses Towkay Wong, who suggests a business venture...琪琪开始接受高维的训练，并领悟到厨艺不仅仅只是注重技巧和花招而已。头家王的妻子拜访圆叔夫妇时，透露自己想重返职场，在知道外头有许多工作机会时感到很开心。圆叔夫妇推出研发的新口味，让头家王惊艳不已。。
