Aidan is a compulsive liar who doesn’t bat an eyelid when it comes to spinning lies. But he didn't always used to be like this. In fact, he never told a lie when he was young but when his late mother was dying, he decided to lie to her. It was his first lie and he’s never stopped since. One by one, Aidan’s lies become true; a beautiful lady who is a complete stranger passionately kisses him.

A strange little girl appears in Aidan’s house and claims to be his daughter. Aidan doesn't believe it. The next morning, Aidan’s wakes up to find the little girl missing and thinks it was a dream. Aidan bumps into Nadia（Lin Mei Ling）on his first day of work and she mistaken him for being a lecher. 陌生小女孩出现Aidan家中，坚称自己是Aidan的女儿；Aidan不信。次日，Aidan睡醒，见女孩消失无踪，以为是梦。Aidan第一天上班，遇见了Nadia（林美玲），被对方误会是色狼。

Aidan finally realizes after Xiao Hong is proven to be his daughter that he really does have the ability to turn all his lies into the truth. So he starts lying to his advantage and even uses this ability to clinch an important deal for the company, impressing both his Boss and immediate superior. De Hua questions Aidan why he did not think of wishing himself a million dollars.

Aidan wants to confess his feelings for Nadia but ends up embarrassing himself. Aidan finds out that Shi Jie keeps bullying Nadia and lies to teach Shi Jie a lesson. It turns out that when Aidan was young, he also often stood up for Nadia to bullies and helped her out of situations. But Nadia has scolded him for his help and has even chased him away, exclaiming that she hates him, on several occasions.

Aidan wakes up in the hospital where he learns that Xiao Hong has brain hemorrhage and needs to be operated on immediately. Aidan is guilt-ridden and wants to lie to save Xiao Hong’s life when he suddenly remembers that the old lady warned him about losing something precious. He worries his lie will bring harm to Nadia and to De Hua. But when he remembers the bonds he built with Xiao Hong, he still decides to lie to save her...

The old lady appears and Aidan questions her! The old lady tells him that Xiao Hong is the most precious thing to him and she is the price he has to pay for all his lies. Aidan is stunned. She also tells Aidan that the same person cannot be saved twice so there is no way Xiao Hong will live... Aidan责问老太婆，老太婆说出小红就是Aidan生命里最重要的人，小红就是Aidan 撒谎付的代价。Aidan震惊。老太婆也道出一个人不能撒谎救两次，小红是不可能活过来。Aidan悔不当初。。。

Nadia and Aidan starts dating. Jenny jumps ship to another company and Ming Lie introduces a new colleague who turns out to be Mei Qi. Aidan is shocked to see that Mei Qi looks exactly like Eva and is certain that Eva is faking Mei Qi’s identity. Nadia insists that Mei Qi is her long lost sister. Aidan is worried that Nadia will get scammed; he tries to prove that Mei Qi is actually Eva and ends up arguing with Nadia.

Nadia witnesses Mei Qi getting forced by Aidan to strip naked and hates Aidan for it. Nadia insist that Mei Qi is indeed her long lost sister and when Nadia and Aidan fall out, Mei Qi expresses guilt but is secretly pleased. Nadia is convinced that Aidan cannot change his ways and continues to lie to her about him seeking out Mei Qi when she was working as a prostitute in Thailand. She decides to give up and break up with him.

Aidan tries to kill himself but enters the supernatural realm to see the old lady instead. He finds out that as part of the power of “True Liar”, his life belongs to her and so he is unable to kill himself. Desperate, Aidan tells De Hua that he is no longer the “True Liar” and no longer a human lie detector. The next morning, Aidan wakes up to see that he can no longer see the lie counter above his head.

Nadia decides to quit her job and take a trip overseas. Mei Qi wants to celebrate for her and invites Aidan to the house for a meal. She purposely makes out with him and Nadia is heartbroken and cries. Mei Qi intends to keep Nadia in Singapore and lies to Shi Jie that Nadia no longer wants to quit. Nadia loses her memory and goes back to work the next day.

Nadia comes clean with Mei Qi and tells her she knows that the latter is now the “True Liar” and persuades her to change her ways as the price to pay will be too great. Mei Qi confesses that all she wanted to do was to seek revenge on Nadia and Nadia apologizes to Mei Qi repeatedly for her mistake in the past. She goes on to tell Mei Qi her deepest secret; that she was the original “True Liar”... Nadia对美琪坦白，知道她是大话精，劝她悬崖勒马，因为代价太大！

Aidan finds Nadia who is barely alive and wants to send her to the hospital. Nadia decides to tell him her secret; that she was the original “True Liar”. It turns out that Aidan is actually a figment of Nadia’s lies to begin with; a creation of her lies. Aidan发现奄奄一息的Nadia，急忙要送她到医院，Nadia却要告诉他一个秘密，原来她是大话精，Aidan是她撒谎编造的人，是她创造出来的！Aidan晴天霹雳。。。
