The Diary of Amos Lee series have sold more than 60,000 copies in Singapore. The appeal lies in the compelling character of the protagonist, his relationship with a neurotic mum that all children will understand, a love-hate tussle with his sister, the growing pains he goes through like dealing with pimples, growing body hair, friendship/rivalry and confused feelings for a girl.

AMOS is forced to act as a lame duck in his school play. In order to escape, Amos decides to pursue his dream by attempting to join the swim team. However, with only one spot remaining, Amos must register before his nemesis. MICHAEL, signs up first. To make matters worse, MUM makes Amos stay at home to babysit his little sister. With time running out, Amos must try every possible way to escape the flat and register for the swim team.

The 3As accept his advice not realising what they’re doing is actually illegal! When the police show up, Amos must decide between turning his back on his friends or saving his own skin.
