Juara Memasak All-Star
The JUARA MEMASAK series have gone through 4 seasons. Through these years the REALITI COOKING COMPETITION concept have gained popularity among Suria viewers. Season 5 returns with a punch. It is a comeback opportunity for those who were eliminated in the past seasons. This is their second chance at attempting to survive the weekly challenges and aim at winning cash prize of $10,000 and the title of Champion or Juara. The series features new Host Marina Yusoff and the resident Judges Chef Bob & Chef Amri. This time around a third resident judge will be joining the team and he is CHANNEL NEWS ASIA’s Cooking Champion Chef Iskander. Siri JUARA MEMASAK telah melalui 4 musim. Musim ini ialah PELUANG EMAS yang diberi kepada mereka yang telah disingkirkan pada musim-musim yang lalu. Ini adalah peluang kedua untuk mereka cuba bertahan menghadapi cabaran mingguan dengan tujuan untuk memenangi hadiah wang tunai $ 10,000 dan gelaran Juara. The 12 contestants of ALL STAR start their first round with a challenging ingredient. Given only 90minutes, they have to cook a delicious Chicken Feet dish. The style and theme is left up to them to choose. The top scorer for this round will attempt another cooking challenge to obtain the Immunity Star. The contestant with lowest score for Chicken Feet will be sent home.

The top 11 contestants will be cooking with DATES as the star ingredient. 5 different types of Dates from the Middle East are given to them to choose. They can cook with as many types of dates they choose. They are also free to cook whatever menu they feel like – Main dish or dessert.

The top 10 contestants are surprised with the unfamiliar seafood star ingredient. Geoduck is a type of seafood often used in Chinese & Japanese cuisine as well as in the west like Iceland, France & Mauritius. The contestants will be challenged to clean and cook with the seafood. Will they be able to avoid overcooking the ingredient that is best eaten raw?
The top 10 contestants are surprised with the unfamiliar seafood star ingredient. Geoduck is a type of seafood often used in Chinese & Japanese cuisine as well as in the west like Iceland, France & Mauritius. The contestants will be challenged to clean and cook with the seafood. Outdoor venue: Wisma Geylang Serai This is the first time the Juara Memasak All-Star contestants will be cooking at a venue, outside the competition kitchen. This means they will face the challenge with limited facilities. At Wisma Geylang Serai, the 9 contestants will be cooking a SHELLOUT. They will be working in 2 groups. With the public audience and some of their supporters present, how will these 2 groups fair?
Outdoor venue: Wisma Geylang Serai This is the first time the Juara Memasak All-Star contestants will be cooking at a venue, outside the competition kitchen. This means they will face the challenge with limited facilities. At Wisma Geylang Serai, the 9 contestants will be cooking a SHELLOUT. They will be working in 2 groups. Outdoor venue: Coriander Leaf Restaurant 8 contestants moved to this round. This is the 2nd group challenge. The theme is Vegetarian cooking and their taste buds will be put to the ultimate test. Presented with 4 dishes created by Chef Iskander, the teams will have to taste and recreate the same 4 dishes without knowing what are the actual ingredients in them.

They have to make 3 types of traditional Malay Kueh that are steamed. No sugar is allowed. Instead they have to substitute it with Honey. Will they succeed in maintaining the flavor and keeping the tradition authentic?

They have to ensure that one of the dishes use Double Pagoda Sesame oil as the compulsory ingredient.
Venue: East Coast Park Glamping This is the 1st Semi-Final Round. Anyone can do a BBQ, but what is the Juara Memasak – BBQ? The 4 contestants will have to bake a minimum 3 layered cake according to Chef Bob’s liking. He says. “ I love cheese. I don’t like coconut or cherries on my cake and not overly sweet icing.” ..
It’s Chef Bob’s 40th Birthday when this 2nd Semi Final episode broadcasts on air. In conjunction to this special occasion, the challenge is to bake a Birthday Cake for Chef Bob.
