Singapore celebrates itself as a food paradise, and is aiming to have our Hawker culture recognised at UNESCO as well. We have so many cuisines to choose from at each meal! But how did we come to become a “foodie nation”? Can leftovers make delicacies? Do different cultures share the same food? Did you know that some of our favourite breakfast foods come from the 1800s?
