Yan Dongshan, owner of K.O. Martial Arts School, has not taken in disciples since his son Yifeng died during a match. He chased away his daughter Yichen and disciples Zhengbin and Shuya. Thai boxer Desri challenges Dongshan and beats him, causing Yichen and the rest to feel indignant. Yichen decides to move back to take care of him. Zhengbin decides to reopen the school and starts recruiting. 一击道馆馆主颜东山自从儿子逸风在比赛擂台上丧命之后，将女儿逸晨、徒弟正斌和舒雅赶走，不再授徒。。。

Zhengbin accidentally breaks the wooden dummy which Yifeng left behind. In order to keep it from Dongshan, Yichen hastily brings him to the doctor while Shuya helps Zhengbin to repair it. The pair gets emotional when they recall the happy memories with Yifeng. Dongshan inevitably finds out about the broken wooden dummy and flares up. 正斌无意间打坏了逸风留下的木人桩，逸晨为了隐瞒东山，急忙拉他出去看医生，舒雅则帮忙正斌一起修补木人桩。两人回忆年少时与逸风在一起的那些快乐时光，感慨万分。纸包不住火，东山还是发现了木人桩被打坏，勃然大怒！

Zhengbin apologizes to Dongshan but he refuses to accept his apology and even beats him up. Yichen appears in the nick of time to stop Dongshan. Zhengbin feels comforted as Yichen helps to apply medication on his wounds. He recalls how Dongshan has saved him from being bullied when he was young, and is grateful to Dongshan for taking him in as his disciple. He has since regarded Dongshan as his father.

While Yichen, Shuya and Zhengbin play their favourite childhood arcade basketball machine, it feels like they are back to their happier and carefree days, but without Yifeng. Yifeng's death anniversary is approaching and the trio decide to pay their respects to him together. On the day itself, while Dongshan is secretly paying respects to Yifeng, Yichen and the rest suddenly appears....... 逸晨、舒雅和正斌一起去玩小时候爱玩的投篮机，三人似乎回到年少的欢乐时光，只可惜少了逸风。。。

Yichen confides in Zhengbin that she feels responsible for Yifeng's death as she knew about Yifeng's extreme training regime, and yet she did not stop him or tell Dongshan about it. Zhengbin tells her that Yifeng's death is not her fault. Yichen bursts into tears and Zhengbin holds her in his arms till she gradually calms down... 逸晨对正斌说出当年她发现逸风以过激的方式训练，自己却没有告诉东山或试图劝阻，导致逸风死去之事，自责不已。正斌心疼，指逸风的死不是她的错。逸晨大哭起来，正斌将她抱在怀里，让她发泄，逸晨渐渐安定下来……。

Zhengbin and Yichen develop feelings for each other after spending some time together. While Zhengbin wants to clarify their feelings, Yichen constantly avoids it due to her uncertainty. Thus, both of them are unable to express their feelings. Zhengbin promises to help Yichen let go of Yifeng’s death. Just as he is about to confess his feelings, Dongshan appears, causing him to lose his chance. 正斌和逸晨经过相处之后，彼此产生异样的感觉。正斌想要弄个清楚，但逸晨因为不确定而一再回避，，，

As Zhengbin, Yichen and Shuya are eating, Zhengbin’s actions reminds Shuya of Yifeng. Yichen accidentally dirties Shuya’s clothes and Zhengbin offers to gift her another one to help Yichen out of the predicament. The trio proceeds to shop for clothes and Shuya wants Zhengbin to choose one as a gift in return. Yichen feels dejected as she witnesses the pair bantering. 正斌、逸晨和舒雅一起到小食店吃东西，正斌不经意的举动总是让舒雅想起逸风的温柔。逸晨不小心弄脏了舒雅的衣服，正斌为逸晨解围，说要送舒雅一件衣服。。。

Zhengbin feels uncomfortable about Shuya getting close to him and decides to consult Yichen about it. However, Yichen misunderstands him and Shuya and encourages him to chase her. Zhengbin has no opportunities to confess his feelings for her. Zhengbin tells Shuya that he and Yifeng have very different personalities but Shuya misunderstands him for confessing his feelings for her. 正斌对舒雅越来越亲密的举动感到不安，请教逸晨，却让逸晨进一步误会他和舒雅两情相悦，鼓励他追求舒雅，正斌苦无机会向逸晨表明心意。。。

Dongshan sees Wenkai training and he reminds him of Yifeng. He starts to guide and demonstrate K.O. moves for him. Yichen, witnessing this, feels that her father still the passion for martial arts and suggests that he starts teaching again. However, he remains cold to her suggestion. 文凯独自在大厅练习，打着套拳。东山经过看见，仿佛看见逸风的身影。他指点文凯，还演练一击道套拳给他看。逸晨看见，觉得父亲宝刀未老，建议由东山来教道馆团员，东山反应冷淡。

Yichen realizes that Zhengbin always loses in matches. After Yichen’s incessant questioning, Zhengbin finally reveals that he will hallucinate about Yifeng whenever he fights. Yichen knows that this is due to Zhengbin’s guilt over Yifeng’s death and is determined to help him get over it.逸晨发现正斌与人对打总是败下阵来，数次试探和追问下，正斌总坦言他有心理障碍，只要跟人对打，就会出现逸风的幻觉。逸晨知道正斌是因为内疚害死了逸风，才会有此障碍，感到心疼，决定帮他克服。

Yichen tells Dongshan about Zhengbin's psychological barrier in the hope that he will encourage him, but Dongshan makes snide remarks at him instead. Upon hearing his words, Zhengbin is determined to represent the school and win the competition. 逸晨把正斌有心理障碍、不能上台比赛的事告诉东山，希望东山能鼓励正斌，谁知东山反而对正斌说出无情的话，指他不能比赛就不要上台丢人现眼，免得坏了一击道的名声。东山的话激起正斌不愿服输的意志，誓言一定要代表一击道出赛获胜。

Yichen comes across an untitled blog post while browsing through Yifeng's blog. Curious, she clicks on, only to find that it requires a password to view. Yichen suspects that it will be able to reveal the mystery behind Yifeng's sudden death and asks Shuya for the password. Shuya has no idea as well and both of them sneak into Yifeng's room, hoping to find it. Dongshan flares up when he finds out...

Doudou gets in trouble with some thugs but they retreat with Wenkai's help. Simon threatens Zhengbin with the footage of the fight and wants Wenkai to leave the competition. Zhengbin reluctantly agrees and asks Doudou to leave the school. When Doudou pleads with Zhengbin, he reveals the cause of Yifeng's sudden death, leaving Yichen in shock. 豆豆惹上小混混，文凯代他出头，击退小混混。不料西门以文凯与小混混打架的视频要挟正斌，让文凯退出比赛，否则公开视频。正斌忍痛答应，并要豆豆离开道馆。豆豆求情，，，

Upon Yichen's incessant questioning, Zhengbin reveals that Yifeng's head was injured when he helped him to chase away some thugs. In order to not affect the competition, he refused to see a doctor causing his sudden death. Zhengbin hides the truth in fear of not being forgiven. Yichen is unhappy that Zhengbin has hidden the truth from her, but soon realizes that Shuya has something to hide too...

Yichen recalls some past events and manages to decode the password to the encrypted blog post. She finds out from the post that Yifeng had no confidence in competing from the start, and his father's expectations of him made him felt overwhelmed. Yichen cries with immense sadness after reading the post... 逸晨回想往事，得到灵感，无意中解开逸风那篇加锁的文章，从中发现逸风当时根本没有信心面对比赛，加上父亲对他的期望很高，令他倍感压力和痛苦。逸晨看了难过不已，泪流满面……。

Wenkai is under immense stress from Dongshan’s intense training. Yichen is afraid that history may repeat itself and advices him to not train Wenkai too much. Dongshan points out that Wenkai is as talented as Yifeng and insists that he fulfils his expectations. Yichen feels helpless as she’s afraid that Dongshan is unable to accept the fact that he indirectly caused Yifeng’s death due to stress. 东山训练文凯，让文凯备感压力。逸晨担心历史重演，劝父亲不要对文凯过度训练。东山指文凯和逸风一...

Desri defeats Zhengbin, causing him to change his career path to join the racing team instead. Yichen notices Zhengbin’s intention in avoiding the situation when he bids everyone farewell to travel around Asia. Yichen chases after Zhengbin on the day of his departure. Despite him turning back, he does not stay for Yichen. 正斌被狄西佛打败，决定转换跑道，加入大型机车队，即将出发环游亚洲，来跟大家道别，逸晨看出正斌在逃避。离别之日，逸晨不舍，追着正斌的机车跑。正斌虽然回头，但最后还是离开了，逸晨伤心不已。

Yichen is concerned when she discovers Wenkai’s bruise on his knee. Wenkai smiles and asks everyone not to worry. Yichen recalls that Yifeng had the same signs of “smiling depression” and suspects that Wenkai has it too. They both have similar symptoms of pretending to be happy despite facing immense stress and despair towards life. 逸晨发现文凯膝盖有淤血而关心他，文凯微笑回应，叫大家不要担心。逸晨想起逸风，怀疑文凯和逸风一样患有“微笑忧郁”的症状，即本身虽然面对很大的压力，在人前却装出开心的样子，其实微笑和乐观的背后充满了绝望。

Dongshan is unable to forgive himself for pushing Yifeng to his wit’s end. He decides that he and his school will leave the martial arts industry, leaving everyone dumbfounded. Simon sees Dongshan drunk at a coffee shop. Instead of his usual cold remarks, he mentions that Dongshan is an admirable man whom Yifeng has always been proud of……. 东山无法原谅自己逼死了逸风，决定让一击道从此退出武术界，自己也会退出江湖，大家一时无所适从。东山在咖啡店买醉，西门来到，一反常态没有奚落东山，反指东山是个令人敬佩的人，逸风也一直以东山为荣……。
