Steady Lah!
“Steady Lah!” – two words – coming together to form an expression that is so very Singaporean! We employ it to tease as well as to affirm. That’s just what “STEADY LAH!” – the TV Show is all about – a light-hearted affirmation of the fusion of the foreign and the local in little sunny Singapore. Each week, two likeable foreigners will be put through experiences, situations and aspects of life that are very much part and parcel of life in the Lion City. And they will do so with the help (or perhaps hindrance) of the hosts – good friends – local media celebs - Rozz Lee (a Singaporean lass) and Bobby Tonelli (a localised American hunk). For the viewer, it will be a good time for a laugh as the participants try to “outdo” each other in activities that are part and parcel of the Singapore identity. What do the foreigners living in our midst know about Singapore? What are they like as individuals? How well are they adapting and how do they enrich Singapore society?“STEADY LAH!” will be a journey of discovery (or even re-discovery) – of the things that make our cosmopolitan city-state special and the values we cherish and seek to affirm - as Singaporeans, and as denizens who call this place home.
