Projek Lagu kicks off the competition with first 4 songs from 4 contestants – Ahmadul Amin, Daina Ariffin, Wawan Husen & Fairuz Rahim and Yazri Malek, Erma Maulood and Idi Hakim. Presenting songs from various genres, the contestants hope that they can win the hearts of not only the panel of judges comprising, Ramli Sarip, Mayuni Omar & Daly Filsuf, but also the audience who will contribute 30% of their marks via their votes.

4 more contestants present their entries for the first quarter-final round of Projek Lagu. They are Rico Setiabudi & Rayhul Firdaus, Amy Eedaya, Bigg Arjuna and Diana Saad & Aqmal N. The songs, which represent their style & colour as composers & lyricists, will be judged by Ramli Sarip, Mayuni Omar & Daly Filsuf. The audience will also get their say as they vote for their favourite song of the night.

The final group of 4 contestants present their songs for a chance to move on to the next stage of competition. They are Reyza Hamizan & Osem, Zul & Ariff, Aisha Ayesha & Andy Gan and Yanto Sani. Comprising new & experienced composers, they will put up performances that they hope will get them to through to Quarter-final 2. With different genres & styles, who will the judges & audience choose?
