On The Red Dot: Secret Heroes

There are people among us who have been quietly contributing in their own ways to different aspects of life in Singapore, and with odds stacked against them! Meet Kelvin Pung, a diver with one disabled arm, who passionately promotes Singapore's marine life with his artistic underwater photography. Then there is Azman Hamid, who calls himself the last Malay driver in Pulau Ubin. Together with six other drivers of taxi vans on the island, Azman is committed to preserving Pulau Ubin's kampong life in the face of urban development. 60-year-old Lim Kim Koon has made it his life's mission to donate blood every 28 days. He goes the extra mile with daily exercise and a clean diet to ensure good health for this purposeful simple act that can save lives. And popular singer Joanna Dong, who was diagnosed with cancer just 2 months before she was due to perform at the National Day Parade, did everything she could mentally and physically just to get herself back to the Padang for the big national celebration.
