The bandits are approaching and Pas and Co. prepare for an ambush. Yet the lack of power remains unresolved as the enemies arrive. Along with the Morteln family's lieutenant Feuille Beatwin, Casserole decided to attack the enemy camp in a short battle. Meanwhile, Pas who was left to man the village, prepared a plan with the help of his childhood friend Marcarullo Dorova and Luminito Aidolihappa.

Pas and the others repelled the bandits by transferring magic and slingshot them. Satisfied that there was no casualty, Pas thought of making celebratory Bonka pie in his free time. Meanwhile, Lumi and Marc earned a sword for their great work. The happy pair went to visit the bandits in curiosity. Marc was deceived by the boss bandit and got his sword taken. Even worse, Lumi also got slashed?!

With the bandit problem solved, Pas and the others now struggle to rebuild Morteln. Facing a financial crisis, Casserole tried to solve it ASAP but he faced a dead end. Meanwhile, Pas received a hint from March and the others make use of the copy magic. The next day, Pas and Casserole visited the Retes territory to negotiate compensation with the current lord, Brioche Salgrade Mille Retes.

Pas attends a banquet celebrating the coming-of-age of Duke Kadlecek's grandson, Squale Mille Kadlecek. He shows the picture of the Margrave of Hubarek's third daughter, Petra Mille Hubarek to Squale and opens a talk of marriage. Squale falls in love at first sight and the engagement was decided. However, a presence with a grudge towards the Kadlecek family has made their move.

Escorting Lady Petra, Pas and the others arrived at Bovaldia royal capital where she and Squale's engagement would be held. Until the engagement, Pas took a break with Petra's twin sister Licorice, but she was mistaken for Petra and was kidnapped along with Pas by someone who plotted to sabotage the engagement. Casserole and the others searched for the two and found the clue Pas left for them.

Pas saves Licorice by making great use of his magic. Figuring out their location, Casserole and the others rushed to the rescue and hunt down the ringleader. Pas defeated Strudel, the leader of the outlaws, who tried to escape the scene. One month after the incident, Squale and Petra safely hold their engagement party. As Pas warmly watches over them, a marriage proposal surprises him.

After 20 years, Morteln territory finally achieved a year-round profit. Pas, the one with the most contribution, wanted to grow black locust saplings for honey production. Due to water shortages, he set out to build a reservoir but Casserole found out he was using magic for it. Meanwhile, a letter came from Countess Retes, who had her eyes on Pas and wanted to recruit him to her side.

Marc, Lumi, and the others were excited about Licorice's visit to live in Morteln territory for a while. Pas warmly welcomed her and spent a sweet time with her while making sweets in the kitchen. A few days later, they both attended a tea-tasting party as invited by Countess Retes. Without Casserole, Pas acted confidently as Morteln's representative and had a diplomatic talk with Countess Retes.

Seeing Pas being half-teasingly hugged by Countess Retes, the shocked Licorice ran away. With her inability to do well in the gathering also weighing on her heart, she lost her confidence. To bring back her smile, Pas conveyed his feelings along with the sweets of their memories. Later, using the money he earned, he gathered sweets ingredients. Now, he tried to create sugar with a juicer!

A war broke out between the Hubarek and the Lutoroute. The news caused tension in Morteln and Pas couldn't concentrate on his sweets. The goat he purchased was snatched by a noble living near the battle and Squale, who was in Hubarek territory, went to the front lines under the instruction of Petra's father, Donachel. Squale gallantly went on his first battle but the enemy's trap waited for him.

Pas and Casserole saved Squale just in the nick of time. The enemy led by Jered Merederek de Lutoroute withdrew due to the unexpected reinforcement. Squale returned to Hubarek territory after the victory. Yet, he closed his heart, blaming himself for his inability in battle. Consulted by Petra, Pas made a particular sweet. Will Pas be able to make his loved ones happy with the power of sweets?!
