Ye Feng decides to buy Yi Shi a new bicycle, after losing his. Yi Shi refuses to accept as he does not want to take any advantages. Ye Feng does not want to take back the key from Yi Shi. This process was caught by Ruo Jun. She thinks that Yi Shi is harassing Ye Feng. Ruo Jun confronts Yi Shi, tells him that he needs to leave as the job is not suitable for him. Liu Mang witnesses a customer accusing Shu Tong for giving him the wrong change at the stall. The boss sides the customer without finding out from Shu Tong. She is angry and quits on the spot. Liu Mang wants to help Shu Tong, finding excuses to pass her money but she exposes him. Liu Mang has interests in Shu Tong and ask for her mobile number. Ye Feng gives Liu Mang the bicycle she gets for Yi Shi. Liu Mang asks Shu Tong out. Shu Tong is on the way to fetch her daughter from school when suddenly she gets a phone call from the hospital that Jiang Nan is in danger. She rushes to the hospital, asking Liu Mang to help fetch her daughter. Liu Mang brings Min Min to have some food. Shu Tong lies during the job interview at Guang Zong's restaurant, for the position of a foreman, but is exposed by him. Due to her dishonesty, Guang Zong does not hire her. When she's about to leave, a customer tries to make things difficult. She helps to solve the problem and Guang Zong is satisfied with her capability. He decides to hire her as a waitress first. Shu Tong is pleasantly surprised.

Shu Tong finds a customer's wallet while working. She recalls Jiang Nan's operation fees and gets greedy. She initially wants to keep all the money but at last, she still returns. The customer suspects Shu Tong initial intention. Yi Shi helps Shu Tong clears the air, but he does suspect her a little in his heart. During Yi Shi's one to one confrontation to Shu Tong, he sees some guilt in her eyes.

Liu Mang finds out that the Nursing Centre is organising an art exhibition. Yi Shi is unaware and sets up an online auction. Liu Mang is upset that Ye Feng does not inform Yi Shi. She explains that he is no longer their staff, she does not want to make use of him. Liu Mang tells her Yi Shi has interests in her and reminds her to not hide her feelings too. Ye Feng denies but the feelings are mutual.

Ye Feng mistook Andy as the anonymous donor and brings him to Guang Zong's restaurant for a meal to thank him. Upon seeing Yi Shi, she then realises that this is his family's business. Andy can tell that the relationship between them is not simple. He misleads Yi Shi to think that he spikes Ye Feng's drink and upskirt her. Yi Shi falls in the trap and wrongs Andy and kneels to apologise.

Ruo Jun wants Yi Shi to return to Jing Hao Zhi Jia but he rejects. Yi Shi admits his real intention when he joins. Currently his grandpa is sick and needs him to help with the restaurant's business. Zi Yue interns at Jing Hao Zhi Jia and bumps into Ye Feng. Liu Mang then finds out their relationship. He tries to say a few good words of Ye Feng in front of Zi Yue. Zi Yue misunderstands Liu Mang as his sister's boyfriend. Later then he finds out, Ye Feng's boyfriend has passed away. He feels guilty. 子曰到静好之家实习，遇见夜风，留芒才知子曰是夜风的弟弟，他尝试帮夜风说好话。子曰见留芒对夜风的事很了解，以为他是夜风的男朋友，却意外得知夜风的男友不久前去世了，子曰心里有些内疚。

Ah Huo suddenly appears when Shu Tong is on the way home with Min Min. He wants to snatch Min Min away. In a hurry, Shu Tong hurts Ah Huo and flees with Min Min. Shu Tong decides to surrender, exposes Ah Huo's bad doings so to have a normal life moving forward. When the staff of Jing Hao Zhi Jia finds out that Ruo Jun is quitting, they are very sad. Yi Shi officially returns to Jing Hao Zhi Jia. He recognises Zi Yue as Ye Feng's brother. Zi Yue shows Ye Feng's notebook to Yi Shi. Yi Shi realises the handwriting is the same as his love letter from school and hence confirms that Ye Feng is the girl who wrote him the letter. Yi Shi uses the same method to ask Ye Feng out.
