Yi Xuan and Jun Guang get into a disagreement over whether to have kids. Xiang Tian returns to Navy camp for training, he realises that Yi Xuan is his officer and is surprised. Yi Xuan feels troubled, she accidentally bumps into Xiang Tian, scalding him with her spilled coffee. Navy training is over, Yi Xuan returns to the Navy base and takes a taxi out. Jun Guang appears with a bouquet of flowers, wanting to surprise Yi Xuan but as fate would have it, they miss each other. Jing Yu is surprised to find out that An Qing gave her muffins, she initiates a chat. An Qing sends her home, the atmosphere in the car is awkward. While scanning through Jia Xin's old mobile phone, he finds messages between her and Xiang Sheng. He suspects Jia Xin had an affair whilst his father was alive, he confronts her. Apollo knows that An Qing is the recipient of the mobile stand and sees him as a love rival. He asks An Qing if the mobile stand is useful and reveals he helped to select it. An Qing takes out his father's past belongings, he sees a picture of Tan Kim Poh, the student who caused his father's death, he is full of hatred. One day, An Qing hears Kim Poh's colleagues calling his full name, he then realises that he is that playful student who caused his father's death. Jun Guang tries to get An Qing and Kim Poh into Ding Ji, to get them to reconcile. An Qing storms off angrily. At the carpark, An Qing gets into an argument with delivery guy whose trolley is blocking his car. The trolley rolls and knocks Mei Guang down. Guan Yan and Jun Guang chase after the terrorist who made the explosives, they bump into Yi Xuan. The terrorist takes Yi Xuan hostage but she tackles him. He whips out a gun and points it at Yi Xuan; Jun Guang is startled, he goes forward to block it and gets shot. Jun Guang comes to and realises that his lower body is paralysed.
