UNDERCOVER HAPPINESS, is a 6-part docu-reality series. Each week features an accomplished Singaporean (the Benefactor) wholl gamely come out of their comfort zone, and walk in the battered shoes of an underprivileged profile (the Beneficiary). Going undercover as a student, a researcher and even a journalist, the Benefactor will immerse completely in the other partys life. They may act as care-giver to a wheelchair-bound person, live in a sparse one-room flat, and even work as a cleaner for a HDB estate! At the end of the journey, the Benefactor reveals his or her identity to the Beneficiary - and a sincere offer of help. It could be financial assistance, free tuition - any form of help that the underprivileged profile needs the most. In return, the Benefactor receives a life-changing lesson about the human spirit!

This week, Food For Thought Executive Chef, David Heng, goes undercover as a student to meet Mr. Tan and his disabled friend, Suppiah. Suppiah is an amputee, and is unable to walk. David learns how Mr. Tan opted to care for Suppiah for life. David may be hanging up his apron for now, but hell go equally hands-on in this mission. Danny Lien is Managing Director of Amos International, a marine and offshore services company. This week, hell meet Mdm. Ong, a singleparent, with 3 children. 2 of them still schooling. Mdm. Ong has also been given a life expectancy of 4-5 years, due to a liver problem. Trading his suit for the simpler life, Danny will clean a school toilet with Mdm. Ong, who is a part-time cleaner, and learn what its like to depend on others for a meal.

He dreams of being a guitarist one day. Syukurs mother is Mdm Madiah, a single-parent and care-giver to Syukur. Her husband passed away from a heart attack, a few years ago.

Setting aside her jet-setting corporate life temporarily, Anisa will enter the lives of Harun Tay and his family. Since suffering from a stroke a few years ago, Harun has been unable to work. His family of seven is currently supported financially by CDC, donors and a few organisations.
