He discovers that Ke Yan had a brother who passed away when he was young due to illness. Tintin brings a branded watch for evaluation, citing it as a gift from her employer. Huo Chang doesn't doubt Tintin's words, but Ke Yan thinks she has stolen the watch and decides to find evidence of the theft. Ke Yan and Yi Cheng stalk Tintin and the various evidence gathered further supported Ke Yen's claim. Tintin gets fired due to the theft and is sent back to the maid agency. Ke Yan admits being the whistle-blower and lists out all the evidence of Tintin committing theft. Huo Chang has his own reservations and with Ke Yan's help, managed to prove Tintin's innocence. Huo Chang teaches Ke Yan on using his heart to understand interpersonal relationships. Qing Feng gloats over Huo Chang's failure to raise money for a new safe door. He recalls bitter memories of him rushing to his dad's wake only to encounter his creditors and learning that Xiang Dang Dang has been handed over to Huo Chang. Mu Luan encourages Ke Yan to take the initiative and pursue Yi Cheng but he still doesn't have the courage to do so. Hao Ren, who carries a torch for Yi Cheng, decides to help Ke Yan and Yi Cheng and arranges them to meet, hoping that they will be able to have a heart-to-heart talk. She confronts Qing Feng, who admits and says Ke Yan is part of it and had purposely approached her to gain her trust.
