Guo En refuse to learn dancing despite Minfei wanting to teach him. Instead he asked Minfei to cane herself. Guo En is hurt and hospitalized after rescuing Zhiyi. Minfei saw Zhiyi sleeping by Guo En side in the room. Guo En tells Minfei to attend a surprise date specially arranged for her. Minfei is excited as she assumes Guo En is taking the opportunity to confess his feelings for her. However, Guo En shows up with Lin Xi in the wheelchair. Guo En heard a loud bang while confessing his feelings to Minfei over the phone. He rushed to her house to discover that her car had crashed into the tree. Minfei is unhurt. Minfei received confirmation that her illness is terminal and falls into depression. Dewei consoles her and encourages her to go for treatment, Minfei however thinks its is useless to seek treatment as her condition is already terminal. Guo En takes Minfei's pulse and realized she is very sick. Minfei decides to tell him the truth. Guo En is adamant on keeping her company but Minfei insists on being just friend. Guo En has no choice but to accept. 国恩替入睡的敏妃把脉，知道敏妃有重病在身，非常心痛和迷惘。敏妃觉察后于心不忍，坦白告诉他自己患有绝症。国恩坚持要陪伴敏妃左右，敏妃坚持两人做朋友就好，国恩无奈接受。

Guo En accompanies Minfei for treatment while Dewei tries to contact a professor based in Germany, in the hope of finding a treatment for her. Minfei develops side effects as a result of her chemo but continues to keep herself busy at work. Her patients lose trust in her after finding out about her condition. 国恩陪伴敏妃接受化疗，德伟则忙碌地联络德国教授，希望可以找到治疗敏妃绝症的方法。敏妃因为化疗副作用而掉发、呕吐等，但仍坚持继续上班，让自己没有时间乱想。不料病人得知敏妃正接受化疗，却对她的医术有所怀疑。

Dewei is jealous and throws a fit after discovering that Minfei is taking Guo En's Chinese medicine. Minfei informs Guo En about this. When Guo En feels that Dewei is biased against him, Minfei feels that Guo En is too sensitive. Dewei wants Minfei to go Germany with him to seek treatment, Minfei turns him down using her dad as an excuse.

Jianzhong dies in a car accident, Siyun suspects Dewei is the mastermind behind the accident. Zhiyi warns Siyun that these are all conjectures and she has no evidence. 建中车祸身亡，思云怀疑建中的意外是德伟造成。芝仪提醒思云这只是她自己的猜测，没有真凭实据，不能乱说话。芝仪还说这个世界没有永远的秘密，如果德伟真的做了亏心事，一定会被揭发

Yongtai tells Minfei that Dewei is the one responsible for Jianzhong's death and has a witness to prove it. Minfei urgently contacted Zhiyi.
