Fighting Spiders
Set in post 60’s Singapore, in rustic kampongs, and the colorful chaotic streets of Chinatown, FIGHTING SPIDERS is a coming of age, adventure, story of three boys – Soon Lee (Edwin Goh), Charlie (Liang Shijie Jason) and Peter (Frederick Fielding), whose friendship is tested when they go to Malaysia on a quest to find and return with the King Spider, so as to challenge their nemesis, and bully, Ah Huat. Every episode follows an adventure of the boys in the world of flying kites, fighting fishes, fighting spiders, first love and crushes, teenage lusts, and rebellion.

In the first season, the boys embark upon an adventure to find the King Raja Laba to fight Ah Huat the bully. In Fighting Spiders Season 2, the boys set out to find a secret Map, which will lead them to the Treasure of the Red Rubies, so they can save their Kampong! Get ready for mystery and adventure and romance and intrigue with secret rooms, Soldier ghosts, treasure book, mysterious codes, beautiful girls and menacing villains in the second season of Fighting Spiders.
Soon Lee and Yi Ling and Charlie chance upon a Stocky girl, Siew Mai, ripping wings off butterflies. Charlie challenges the girl to a fight. Charlie is not trained in boxing or martial arts. They meet another new hero of Fighting Spiders, a Malay boy named Jamal, who is well versed in Silat. It turns out the snake is the same snake that Jamal’s grandfather, Satay Man, caught, while practicing silat. Jamal promises to look after the python caught by his grandfather, the Satay Man, for three days, while Satay Man is out of town...

The Wisdom of Coconuts. The boys find the cemetery plot where the map is hidden. Drenched in mud and dirty, in an open grave, they find a strongbox. They break it open and find….nothing. Siew Mai appears above them, laughing. We flashback to reveal that earlier Siew Mai had deciphered the code when she stole the book and she had altered one number from one to seven before she returned the book...
