Exlosers
Exlosers, the TV Series, is adapted from the popular local book series “Exlosers”, by Jessica Alejandro. It tells the stories of four lonely misfits in Brightstar School Class 5B – Darryl, Janice, Mundi and Clandestino. The series explores how they found friendships in one another and when they discovered each other’s deepest secret, or rather, superpowers. The show is about these kids’ struggles with their super powers. They also encounter the usual pangs of growing up. How to handle school bullies? How to be popular? How to get their parents to understand them? And understand why their parents do what they do, for them. Together and through their superhuman powers, they learn to stand up to the school bullies and face their fears. It is a series packed with comedy, action, adventure, cool special effects, laughter and tears. In Season 3, the four superheroes reunite to bring more entertainment, compelling stories and fun situations back to the screen and into the homes of their fans.

The gang is back for Season 4! The scripts will continue to be a page turner. With mysteries, exhibition of their super powers, twists and surprises, touching moments of friendship and family bonds. In the first 3 seasons Daryl, Janice, Clan, and Mundi needed to navigate through friendships among themselves, with school mates and teachers, and some unsavoury characters. Season 4 will focus on their relationships with friends and adults outside school because it’s their school holidays. There will be new characters whose background will slowly be revealed throughout the entire series. The Exlosers continue to have the naive notion of using their powers to save the world. With great powers come great responsibilities. Unfortunately kids are kids, and are not in the best position to exercise them. In Season 3 it seemed like Clan fancied Janice who fancied Daryl. With Daisy in the mix, things are sure getting awkward these days. Exlosers Season 4 universe is not so much BGR. It’s about RWTAW. Relationships with the adult world.
