A story of a homicide case causing an unprecedented event between the evil and the good. Wang Man Ting (Rebecca Lim), of the police coast guard pairs up with senior investigator Xiao Feng Ze (Pierre Png), to investigate. While exploring the case, Man Ting and Feng Ze who hold a grudge against each other reveal their unbearable past. Meanwhile, Lu Guo Tai, (Wang Yu Qing) the head of a criminal family tries with various devices to obtain information from the police. Guo Tai’s eldest son, Lu Jia Ming (Weber Yang) is ordered to approach Man Ting but realises they have known each other since a kidnapping case 18 years ago. Man Ting and Jia Ming develop deeper feelings for each other while a deep conspiracy awaits them. Li Xiao Rong (Shane Pow) is a dedicated police and is sworn brothers with members of the police coast guards, Xiao Yi Shou (Nick Teo) and Aden Thiam (Joel Choo). Their friendship is put to the test when a new police officer, Le Si Min (He Ying Ying) appears. During an embattlement, Aden perishes in the line of duty, Guo Tai is killed and reveals Si Min’s father, Le Xiao Tian’s (Guo Liang) unknown side. On the other hand, due to Guo Tai’s death, Jia Ming is involved in a gas attack case and is forced to push his loved ones near the boundary of death. Man Ting, Feng Ze and others try to turn the tide only to realise an extremely unknown powerful force on the rise is slowly approaching. Wang Man Ting, a Police Coast Guard (PCG) Team Leader, is a tough officer who protects our country’s coastal safety with the Special Task Squadron (STS). Le Xiao Tian, CEO of an electronics company is arranging the illegal movement of migrants. To divert police attention from his plan, he orders Guo Tai, the owner of a fish farm, to send someone to kill his enemy Lucas.

Guo Tai knocked Popiah abruptly in order to escape and Popiah was ready to shoot him. However, knowing that Guo Tai's life is in danger, Inspector Feng Ze was unable to pull the trigger. Witnessing this, Man Ting shot Popiah and he died. Feng Ze could not get over the fact that he was not able to open fire under such critical situation. Shi Tong, supervisor as well as Man Ting's father explains that what happened to Ya Qi was not his fault.

In order to track down the USB, Guo Tai asked her adopted daughter, Ke Xin to search Jess's grandfather's apartment by posing as Jess's classmate. However, nothing was found. After Xiao Tian and Guo Tai learnt of Jess and Man Ting's argument, they suspected that the USB lies with Man Ting. They tasked Jia Ming to court her in order to find the USB....... 为了寻找USB的下落，国泰的养女可心假扮是Jess的同学，去慰问Jess的阿公，乘机搜索阿公家，一无所获。

While looking through the CCTV footage in search for Jess’ murderer, Ze Feng spots a man with a tattoo on one arm acting suspiciously. When Jia Hao delivers fish to Xiao Ying, Ze Feng sees a similar tattoo on Jia Hao’s arm and thus arrests him. However, Jia Hao is released as he has an alibi. 峰泽寻找杀害Jess的凶手，从码头的监控画面发现一手臂有纹身的男子，行迹可疑。家豪送鱼货给晓英，被峰泽看见。峰泽见他手臂上的纹身与监视器中可疑男子的纹身很相似，将他带回警局问话。家豪有不在场证据，峰泽只好将他释放。

Man Ting realizes that Yun Yun is missing after receiving a call from Ah Ping. While searching for Yun Yun with Jia Ming, Man Ting has an anxiety attack when Yun Yun’s disappearance reminded her of her own traumatic experience. Seeing Man Ting in such a state for the first time, Jia Ming comforts her by embracing her. 曼婷接到阿萍的电话，得知其女芸芸失踪，急忙和家明赶去事发地点寻找。由于芸芸失踪的情景与曼婷当年被诱拐的情景很相似，曼婷被勾起可怕往事，顿时惊慌失措。家明第一次看到曼婷慌乱的样子，忍不住将她拥入怀里。

Man Ting and Jia Ming coincidentally return to the same park where they were abducted from to look for clues. They hear a child’s cry and search for the source of the sound. Seeing a man with a little girl, Man Ting misunderstands the man for abducting the girl and rushes to stop him. Witnessing Man Ting’s reaction, Jia Ming confirms that she is the girl who was abducted with him when they were little.

Jia Ming finds a USB inside Man Ting’s bag but she claims that it does not belong to her. Jia Ming brings the encrypted USB home and unlocks it. He passes the USB to Xiao Tian when he realises it is Jess’ vaccine formula. Now all that is left to be found is the poison gas formula. Jia Hao uses Dr Johnson’s family to threaten him into revealing the formula. He relents and gives in.

Xiao Tian asks Ke Xin to complete this task. Ke Xin disguises herself as one of the victims, Han Fei. Ke Xin gathers all the victims, including Mei Zhen, to discuss on how they can teach Louis a lesson.

Man Ting finds an audio recording of the crime scene in Mei Zhen’s phone. Although there are no images, it is enough to prove Mei Zhen’s innocence. The recording shows the mysterious Han Fei spearheading the incident, proving Ze Feng’s suspicion that she is the mastermind. Upon hearing Han Fei’s voice, Man Ting finds it familiar……. 曼婷从美真的手机里发现一段案发现场的录音，虽然没有画面，但录音显示美真所做的口供是真的，得以无罪释放。录音显示神秘女子韩菲一直在主导事件的发展，就如峰泽之前所推测的那样，她才是主谋。曼婷感觉韩菲的声音有点熟悉……。

Xiao Tian arranges for Guo Tai to flee the country after he fails to rescue Jia Hao. PCG and STS intercept the speedboat and force the boatman to surrender. Aden leads a team onto the boat to capture the boatman and Guo Tai but discovers there is a bomb onboard. He pushes his team mates into the sea in time but dies with the boatman and Guo Tai when the bomb explodes. 国泰营救家豪失败，在笑天安排偷渡出国。海岸卫队和STS将快艇包围，Aden与船夫开战，最后船夫投降。。。

Alexis holds Ke Xin and the cargo ship boat hostage to threaten Jia Ming into using the virus to attack Singapore. Jia Ming complies and flies the drone towards Singapore. Man Ting, Xiao Rong and the others go onboard the ship and find something amiss. They are ambushed by Alexis and shocked to learn that the drone carrying the virus is on the way towards Singapore… Alexis挟持可心及骑劫货船，威胁家明用病毒对新加坡展开恐袭。货船上，家明超控无人机向新加坡飞去。曼婷、晓荣等上货船检查，发现异样。。。
