Junying knocks into Zhang Dan's van accidentally. Fortunately for her, Xiuwen is there. They drive their vehicles to Liyi's shop for repair. At the shop, Zhang Dan is frightened when Junying brings a dog into the office. Junying laughes at him for being afraid of the dog. Zhang Dan argues that there is nothing wrong with it since some men actually fear cockroaches.

Ma Qiang brings Qin Meng to a recording studio to discuss with the owner about recording an album for her. The owner praises Qin Meng in front of Ma Qiang and she is pleased. While Qin Meng is talking to a friend she has just met in the studio, the owner pulls Ma Qiang aside, telling him not to take the risk to record the album for her. Yuanbao is forced to sell his shop as his textile business is not doing very well. One day, he brings a stranger to survey his shop. Wang suspects that his employer is borrowing money from a loan shark. Wang informs Xiuwen about it. Xiuwen does not think her father would be so silly as to approach a loan shark. However, Wang feels that his boss may be feeling more desperate as more and more creditors are hounding him.

Yuangui is so upset by her brothers' decision to close down the textile shop that she falls sick. Yuanbao explains to her that he really has no choice. Realizing that Yuanbao feels sad about it too, Yuangui stops chiding him. Xiuwen rushes into the room to tell them that Yuanhe and his family are moving into a hotel as he is not on good terms with Yuanbao. The latter is indifferent buy Yuangui is shocked.

Shunyu visits Junying at the hospital. Junying appears undecided about whether to leave or not. Shunyu feels relieved that she is not so adamant about leaving. Junying feels guilty now that her father has give in to her. Shunyu advises her to treasure her relationship with her father...

At the bowling alley, Zhihui is unable to bowl properly as his finger is injured and he loses. While Liyi shows her concern, Liu Hanquan jeers at him. Liu introduces him to Yiqi after the game. Zhihui compliments her on her bowling skill. An arrogant Yiqi passes snide remarks about his performance...

Xiuwen rushes out of the office to buy medicine for Shun. When Shun recovers a while later, he expresses his gratitude to her. Xiuwen then tries to find out the nature of his sickness. She also urges him to take care of himself. To her surprise, he tells her off and says that he knows what to do...

At Jiaming's office, Xiuwen witnesses him arguing with Thomson. Xiuwen then realizes that Jiaming's instruction to stop work is not a personal attack on her. Xiuwen apologises to him. Jiaming smiles and asks her is he is that narrow-minded. Xiuwen smiles awkwardly, not forgetting to thank him for persuading Thomson not to change their designs.

Liyi rushes out of the bowling centre when she realizes that she has been manipulated. Zihui tries to explain to her but she ignores him. Liyi is hurt that Zihui has a motive for giving her bowling lessons. Zihui looks her up at the garage but she is not there. He leaves a message for her to call him but she does not respond...

Yuanhe invites Yuangui and Xiuwen to his new house. He also urges Yuangui to stay with him but she is worried that there is no one to look after Yuanbao and Xiuwen. Xiuwen assures her aunt that she can take care of her father. Nevertheless, Yuangui is worried that Yuanbao may not be happy and insists on speaking to him first...

Xiuwen goes to Zhang Dan's office and tells him off. Puzzled, Zhang Dan asks her to explain. Xiuwen, however, thinks he is feigning ignorance. She asks him if he is aware that Bizhu and Junying were nearly arrested by th police. Zhang Dan is shocked. When he tries to explain, Xiuwen refuses to listen to him. She tells him that she never wants to see him again...

Zihui and Liyi are jogging in a park. After a while, Zihui stops to do some exercises, so Liyi continues to jog alone. Meanwhile, Yiqi is jogging with Liu. The latter remarks that if she continues with the jogging and her bowling lessons, she will surely emerge the champion in the bowling competition. When they see Zihui, Liu greets him. Yiqi notices that Liyi is jogging ahead and catches up with her...

After meeting Jiaming, Zihui leaves in a huff. Everyone is surprised. Liyi follows Zihui out while Xiuwen stare at Jiaming who is looking puzzled. Jiaming suddenly realizes that everyone is staring at him. He explains awkwardly that he and Jiaming used to be friends before they had a little misunderstanding...

One rainy night, Xiuwen walks out of her office and sees Jiaming standing outside. He pleads with her to give a chance to explain himself. She is reluctant to do so but relents after a while. The following day, Xiuwen informs Liyi that she has forgiven Jiaming. Liyi is surprised...

Liyi mets Zihui in a restaurant. They see Xiuwen and Jiaming there too. Zihui is unhappy to see Jiaming. Though the latter feels uneasy, he greets Zihui and Liyi. When Zihui and Jiaming meet each other again the the washroom, the latter apologises to Zihui, hoping that he can forgive him for what he had done in the past...

Xueli returns from Australia to see her son. She tells Zihui that she wants the custody of Zhihao. As she still thinks of Jiaming, she goes to his office to look for him. By coincidence, Xiuwen is also in Jiaming's office waiting to have lunch with him. Xueli's sudden appearance makes it awkward for Jiaming, who actually knows about her return but does not want Xiuwen to know about it...

Zihui, Liyi and Xueli find Zhihao in the car workshop and bring him home immediately. Zihui brings Zhihao to his room, leaving Liyi and Xueli in the sitting room. Liyi goes to the kitchen to get Xueli a drink. Suddenly, Xueli hears Zhihao crying and saying that he does not want to go to Australia with her. After Zihui has given his son the assurance that he will let him stay with him, Zhihao goes back to sleep.....

One day, while Zhang Dan is driving, he notices Xiuwen. He calls out to her. Xiuwen ignores him. Zhang Dan rushes out of his cab to look for her but loses her in the crowd. He feels depressed. Xiuwen is actually hiding nearby. Xiuwen feels guilty when she notices how disappointed he is when he cannot find her...
