Featuring performers from the Singapore Gymnastics National Training Centre, Swift Skating Academy and Coastline Leisure, along with student performers from Valour Primary, Seng Kang Secondary School and Yuying Secondary School parade down the Padang with six Singapore mascots balloons: Sharity Elephant, August the Merlion, Singa the Lion, Captain Green, Becky Bunny and Nila the Lion.

To commemorate 40 years of Total Defence, the Volunteer Contingent, comprising volunteers from the Singapore Armed Forces Volunteer Corps and Home Team Volunteer Network, will make its comeback, and the parade performs a special TD40 Transformation and the marching contingents perform the first Onward March at the Padang, marching onto the spectator stands.
