1944, Britannia. Mankind has been in a long battle with a mysterious being called Neuroi. Ginny traveled to London on a train from Britannia's countryside and met with 2 girls, Milasha and Inori. She was surprised to find out that her Moffy was a ""familiar"" that could only be seen by a witch. At that time, Major Grace, was appealing to HQ for expanding her activities of supporting those affected by the invasion with a small band.

After Grace heard the song in London, she started gathering new members. But, those who came were only witches who lost their place to be in their squad, "trash" witches. But amongst them, Inori came not to apply for herself, but to recommend Ginny. She wants to meet the girl who told her to sing when she feels down, and showed her beautiful voice to Inori that day... Will Inori's wish reach her?

Ginny joined the band squad, and their dormitory life began. Then, various training was held under the guidance of their seniors, Aira and Erie. However, Maria, who cannot keep up with Aira's guidance, fainted in the middle of a flight. Even when Ginny, who joined the Britannia Air Force, returned, the situation was still awkward. But then, Erie had an idea to practice in the village plaza...

The villagers found the band squad dubious for being "Witches that don't fight", but now they're finally understood. Then, the band squad wanted to make a concert so people can listen to them. They separate the tasks into making the costume, choreography, and the music itself. By doing them in pairs, they start to learn more about each other. Where will their first stage lead them to?

"We are League of Nations Air Force Band Squad, Luminous Witches!". After their success in the village, they were approved to do a world tour. They're going to deliver the light of hope and peace of mind to those who are tired from the fight. The country that they first visit is Romagna. But, even though Silvie is returning to her home, she's not happy at all...

The Luminous group stayed in Greece for a transit and a break after several performances that began with Romagna. Maria suggested adding shield deployment so they can reach greater heights. But, Mana who wanted to fly around with the Striker, and Maria who wanted to practice on the ground, clashed. Maria kept her ideals. But, there's a trouble that she can't tell anyone about...

There's a knowledgeable person about familiars, so Ginny and the others head there. Then, she meets a woman named Anna, who escaped from her city after a Neuroi invasion. People work hard to rebuild their lives. The Luminous tried to become their strength.

Luminous finished their live in Fuso Empire, and head towards Inori's grandma's house. They ended up having to clean and cook by themselves, but everyone did it with excitement. But, Milasha is still down for making a miss in a critical part. Fueled by Aira's praise to Erie, she challenged Erie one-sidedly into competitions. At that time, Grace was doing a reflection party with a certain someone.

The last place to end their world tour is Liberion. Since they haven't received any attacks from Neuroi, New York is filled with tall buildings and Broadway is still as busy as ever. The stage was set in a historical military facility, Fort Joy on Governor's Island. Since it'll be done in front of the higher-ups from the military and elites, but Joe is having complicated feelings...

The 501st Joint Fighter Wing, Strike Witches destroyed the Neuroi's nest and Galia was released. Luminous returned from the world tour and had a huge welcome. Their popularity rose, they did PR jobs and even got considered for performing in Galia's victory memorial ceremony. Erie, who was born in Galia was told to go for a survey. But behind the scenes, there's a transfer order for Ginny...

When Ginny returned Moffy to his friends, her magic disappeared, and since she is no longer a Witch, she will be discharged from the military. Ginny leaves the dormitory on her own decision. The Galia performance will be led by the military. The spectators are all important people, and no normal people. "I wonder if we can do it as usual...". The 8 lights of Luminous swayed slightly with anxiety.

Having realized what's "the most important thing" for herself, Ginny returns to be with her friends. She might've given up once, but she put it her all in her performance as a Luminous. Inori placed Moffy's feather on Ginny's outfit, and while Ginny could no longer see it, she can still feel its warmth. It is finally the day of the Garia liberation memorial. Having promised to make this performance the best one yet ...
