Kam Chek is a security guard who is very superstitious. A fortune teller told him a year ago that he will meet with misfortune this year but will soar to great heights if he manages to pass the age of 65. To avoid inauspicious dates, Kam Chek has been exhausting his annual and medical leave this year, causing his boss to be unhappy with him. He is even more cautious today as today is the last day.

Hou Sai Lei is surprised to see Lucy as the matchmaker at a match-making session. Lucy chides him for targeting women under 40 years old when he is already over 60. The two left in a huff. Lucy and Jin Zhi fall out over the black pepper crabs that Jun Qiang and Wen Yu brought home. Wen Yu and Jin Zhi support Jun Qiang's decision in investing in a renovation company but Lucy thinks otherwise.

Lucy is shocked to learn from Jun Qiang that Jin Zhi has cancer. Jun Qiang and Wen Yu bring Jin Zhi out for an outing to reminisce about the past. Jin Zhi reveals that she has made a secret wish when Jun Qiang was 6 years old to attend his wedding. Wang Yu bumps into Loria in a male toilet where she pretends to be blind. She even overturns the tray of food that Wang Yu is taking for a senior. As such, he doesn't have a good impression of her. Loria is Wen Yu's saviour and good friend from Macau. She is in Singapore to work and will be staying with Wen Yu. Jun Qiang is caught in a dilemma when Jin Zhi wants him to bring forward the wedding.

Hou Sai Lei and Lucy refuse to work with each other despite Gan Zhe and Wang Li's words. Hou Sai Lei pities Lucy after seeing her bullied by thugs and agrees to help her. Wen Yu and Jun Qiang's parents discuss about the wedding. Gan Zhe picks an auspicious date that is just a month and a half later. He loses his balance and struggles in the water...

Hou Sai Lei plans to get intimate with Moon and secretly consumes a sexual enhancement drug. He ends up in hospital. His neighbour Robert tells him Moon brought a man home when he was hospitalized. Moon explains she is helping a friend to sell belts for more income. Lucy bumps into Moon and Ah Cheng near Mo De Ding and informs Hou Sai Lei. Ong Lai nearly faints from exhaustion. Gan Zhe insists that she stays at home to rest. Loria returns and pulls Wang Yu to cook together. Loria suggests him to be a green ambassador and offers to accompany him to classes. She also suggests Wang Yu to learn cooking from Ong Lai so that he can help at Mo De Ding. Ong Lai notices that Wang Yu has feelings for Loria and encourages him to pursue her. 王莉操劳过度，差点昏倒。甘哲坚持要王莉呆在家里休息。Loria回来，拉望豫一起煮菜。。。

Jun Qiang reconciles with Wen Yu. Wen Yu believes that her pregnancy is unintentional and is only unhappy because she is not prepared for motherhood. Lucy buys many baby products to pressure Wen Yu in keeping the baby. Lucy badmouths Wen Yu infront of Gan Zhe and Ong Lai. Ong Lai apologises to Lucy but Lucy continues to rant about Wen Yu. An infuriated Gan Zhe falls out with Lucy.

Business at the coffeeshop deteriorates further after Du Lang's death. Gan Zhe finds a feng shui master to assess the feng shui of the coffeeshop and buys a huge stone. Lucy doesn't agree to using company funds and insists Gan Zhe pay for it. Jun Qiang, Wen Yu and the rest try to patch things up between them but to no avail. In the end, Wen Yu forks out her own money to pay for the stone.

Gan Zhe is worried about his retirement funds. After hearing about the returns from currency investments, he asks Emily to invest his funds for him. Xia Po sees Gan Zhe with a woman and informs Ong Lai... Jun Qiang asks Wen Yu to look after Jin Zhi. She agrees although she isn't feeling well, and falls asleep after taking medication. Wen Yu hangs a family photo on the wall to make Lucy happy. Lucy scolds her instead for climbing when she is pregnant.
